Portfolio of Hope

My top 3 tips:

  1. In the same way that entrepreneurs always advise other entrepreneurs to set up a business that they themselves would use, so too do I (a writer), advise other writers to write about the things that they themselves need to read. Why? Because, chances are, if you need to read it, lots of other people will need to read it, too.
  2. Don’t worry about being ‘judged’ for the things you write, for, writing is a form of self-expression, a type of free therapy, and in it, we should all embrace our true selves, ‘warts and all.’
  3. Write regularly to keep your followers engaged, but don’t let it become a ‘chore.’ If it feels like it is becoming a chore, like something that you have to do, then take a break from it for a little while, just until writing feels like fun again (because it is fun!)
