to simply be
is the greatest privilege.
(& yes, the above is true even on the days when I feel a bit ‘off’.’)
In fact, the above is true because of these ‘off’ days I speak of.
‘You’ve got to experience the bad days
to appreciate the good days.’
I’m grateful for all the days
good and bad
the fact is,
I am alive
in and of itself
and one that I will never take for granted.
I know that tomorrow is never guaranteed
I am forced to live
‘in the moment.’
To eat mindfully,
taking time to savour every mouthful,
appreciating the tastes.
To move my body mindfully,
taking time to appreciate the way it feels,
and to experience gratitude for all that it does for me,
as it carries me through every day of my life,
