I am X or Y.’

and I am a Woman.’

The reality though?

I am not my body.
I am not my gender.
I am not the clothes that I wear.

I am my soul–

I am soul first,
body second.

I am Lisa first,
Woman second.

Or,
am I Woman at all?

Am I not,
are we all not,
just disembodied entities,
floating around in this infinite universe
which we call our home?*
