The beauty of life
is that something surprising happens
every day.
Sometimes mundane,
like getting to the end of your Spotify playlist and discovering a new artist who becomes your latest obsession,
or,
being complimented on your outfit by a stranger on your way into town…
Sometimes life changing,
like catching someone’s eye across the street who ends up becoming ‘the one’,
or,
finally getting your ‘big break’, receiving an email back that changes everything.
The beauty of life is this-
the surprising moments,
whether big or small,
that happen every day-
the moments that I can’t wait to discover
every day
when I wake up.
What a privilege this is-
to be alive,
just to experience all these moments.
