Do you find yourself glancing at the clock to be met with the same time, seemingly, all the time? The universe is trying to tell you something…
Seemingly, every time I glance at the time-
my watch when I’m working,
the oven clock when I’m baking,
the screen at the train station when I’m travelling,
my phone when I’m procrastinating,
it reads;
’11:11.’
Now, being the over-thinker that I am, I couldn’t let this pass as a mere coincidence (and, I was right not to)… A quick Google search revealed to me that I’m not alone in seeing, what I now know to be a very significant time, ’11:11′-
angel numbers
(a ‘guiding message from above’/
a ‘sign from the divine)…
According to numerology, the number 11 is a “master number,” which signifies intuition, insight, and enlightenment. When paired together, 11 11 is a clear message from the universe to become conscious and aware. The number of spiritual awakening, 11:11 is a signifier that you are on the right path/that everything is ‘on schedule’/going in the right direction, and that your actions are aligned with your Soul’s purpose.
You might be reading this and thinking, ‘it’s all very farfetched!’ but, I very much believe in the power of unseen forces in the world (i.e., spirituality). It brings me a lot of comfort to know that the numbers that I keep seeing are loaded with so much love and protection and guidance- they’re a sign from the universe that I am being supported by forces that I cannot see! I feel grounded in this knowledge, in the knowledge that there is something happening beyond the veil of physical reality, ‘behind the scenes’… So much so, in fact, that I got ’11:11’ tattooed on my arm on Sunday! A permanent reminder that I am exactly where I should be, that I am
‘enough.’
I think it’s important to note that, 11:11 is only one angel number amongst many. Any repetitive number, e.g., 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55, 10:10, 12:12, are also angel numbers. Maybe you keep seeing ‘2:22’, whose meaning is centered around new beginnings- ‘you are in a period of growth and expansion’. Again, like the meaning behind ’11:11′- ‘you are on the right path’- how comforting.
To end with a question, have you noticed any reoccurring numbers presenting themselves in your own life?
If you have, if you have started to notice patterns/if you have noticed that, like me, every time you glance at the time the same number(s) are there, then don’t overlook the significance of this. Get curious, and be open to receiving the deeper meaning behind the numbers. You might just be surprised to find how reaffirming this can be, to know that there is something out there that’s bigger than you, an intelligence much greater than yours at play that is watching over you, that is looking out for you, that is guiding you
home.
May you find comfort in this, and use it to engage more deeply in the mystery and wonder of existence-
